Merit3D completed a medical project this month with 405 resin from Loctite (IND405). This is a significant expansion of our normal operations, which have historically centered around 465 resins. We are constantly testing new resins for new projects.
The project required over 40 iterations resulting in a sleek, functional product.
Thousands of parts were ordered and delivered. They were printed rapidly on Phrozen printers: 8 Sonic Mega 8k v2’s and 7 Sonic Mega 8k S’. They printed successfully 89% of the time.
From quote to shipping, the project only took about 3 months to complete.
